Mega-Kel-P
Better Fruit. Stronger Plants. More Yield.
A precision foliar nutritional combining NPK, a full suite of chelated trace elements, amino acids, and extracts from Tasmanian Bull Kelp (Durvillaea potatorum) — to improve fruit retention, sizing, and stress recovery at critical crop stages.
What is Mega-Kel-P?
Mega-Kel-P is Omnia USA's premium foliar nutritional, an organic-based liquid formulation built around Tasmanian Bull Kelp (Durvillaea potatorum) and optimised NPK with a full trace element package. Unlike single-nutrient foliar products, Mega-Kel-P delivers a complete nutritional profile in every spray, paired with the natural growth-promoting compounds found in cold-water kelp.
It is designed to be applied as a foliar spray at specific critical growth stages; flowering, fruit set, sizing, to maximise the yield and quality outcomes that matter most to growers in the Omnia target markets: almonds, citrus, avocados, grapes, tree nuts, and vegetables
How Mega-Kel-P Works
- Root flush response: Within days of application, Mega-Kel-P stimulates a flush of new root growth, increasing the plant's ability to access water and nutrients from the soil.
- Fruit retention and sizing: The root flush drives increased carbohydrate production, which the plant directs to fruit retention and sizing during the critical window.
- Stress recovery: Pre- or post-stress applications of Mega-Kel-P force root production and kick-start photosynthesis, minimising yield loss from heat, cold, waterlogging, or moisture stress.
- Trace element delivery: Chelated trace elements (Mn, Zn, Cu, Fe, Mo, B, Co) ensure rapid foliar uptake and enzyme system support.
- Natural growth hormones: Sea kelp contains natural cytokinins and auxins that stimulate cell division and elongation, contributing to improved fruit set and sizing.

FAQ
Can Mega-Kel-P be mixed with fungicides and insecticides?
Yes. Mega-Kel-P is compatible with most insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides. Always perform a jar test when mixing with new products. Note: Use 180-micron (80-mesh) filters in spray equipment as the product may contain coarse materials.
Why is the pH of Mega-Kel-P so low (pH 2.3)?
The low pH is necessary to keep the chelated trace elements in solution and bioavailable. Do not mix with strongly alkaline products without first performing a compatibility test.
When is the best time to apply Mega-Kel-P for almonds?
The most important window for almonds is at 90% petal drop, then every 2–3 weeks until stone hardening. This coincides with the critical fruit set and sizing period.
Is Mega-Kel-P available in Spanish?
Yes. Ask your Omnia USA representative for the Spanish-language brochure (Mega-Kel-P Folleto en Español).
